Twine Wrapped Monogram

My friend Mintie has always been a huge supporter of all things Slumbering Alligator Concepts. I call her Slumbering Alligator's #1 fan. Mintie is the owner of Mint Condition Creative Solutions (a creative marketing and graphic solutions firm) and is also the creator of the Slumbering Alligator logo. You can find some of her work here- www.facebook.com/pages/Mint-Condition-Creative-Solutions/93726335680

Recently, it was Mintie's birthday and I wanted to handcraft a gift for her.

I think she's going to love this Twine Wrapped Monogram.

If you love it too, heres what you'll need to craft your own-

Letter Cutout (These come in various sizes and can be found at most craft stores)
Scissors
Aleene's Tacky Glue
Natural Twine
Fake Flowers

Working in sections, apply tacky glue to the back side of your letter and begin wrapping the twine around your letter.

Keep applying glue and wrapping

until finished!

Next, glue down a few fake flowers in your desired position. I chose purple flowers because Mintie's favorite color is purple.

Finally, add a hanger to the backside of your letter. I used some of the leftover twine and attached it with a few dabs of hot glue.

Happy Birthday, Mintie!
