Here's what you'll need to make your very own-
Scrap Wood
Wood Stain
Staining sponge
Scissors
Astroturf Mat (It's thinner and the backside is flatter)
Hot Glue/Gun
Printed Silhouettes
Black permanent Marker/ White Colored Pencil (for tracing)
First, stain the front and side of your board. Let dry overnight.
Next, cutout your paper silhouette.
Then, trace around your silhouette onto the backside of a piece of Astroturf. Cut out your silhouette. It gets tricky when you are dealing with the details of the face. Do the best you can. The larger you make your piece, the more detail you will be able to see.
Finally, hot glue your Astroturf Silhouette to your stained board.
Add a hanger to the back and enjoy your masterpiece!
